Life Health Sciences Internship
I participated in the LHSI program for the academic year of 2024-2025. I worked in a muscle biology lab, helping with several different projects within the School of Health and Human Sciences.
Why LHSI?
I was a junior at IUI majoring in Exercise Science on a pre-physical therapy track for the duration of this internship. I participated in LHSI to get involved in research in my undergraduate degree. I am interested in potentially pursuing a dual Doctor of Physical Therapy/PhD program in my graduate school, so I wanted to get involved in research to help decide if it is a realistic route for me.
